Ben McCoy
Vice President
Ben McCoy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with academic emphasis in land-use law, land-use planning, environmental law, and environmental sciences. He brings this interdisciplinary foundation to his work as a Global Real Estate Advisor with Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty, where he is recognized throughout the nation for his experience, market knowledge, and thoughtful client representation.
A significant highlight of Ben’s real estate career was serving as part of the team that helped facilitate the 2021 purchase of the new D’Vine Path farm and vineyard campus.
Prior to luxury real estate, Ben spent two decades in the forensic engineering and construction defect litigation arena as a project manager, contributing to the resolution of complex legal matters involving geotechnical and civil engineering, construction, and property-related failures.
Outside of work, Ben is active in community and nonprofit service, including Agents of Change, through which he donates a portion of each home sale to help build homes for families in Mexico. He also supports the Fallbrook Food Pantry, where he and his business partner pick local backyard fruit throughout the community and donate it on behalf of the landowners. In addition, he supports his daughters’ school PTOs through volunteer work and financial contributions. He takes pride in supporting his daughters as they pursue academics, dance, musical theater, and equestrian activities.
When he has free time, you will find Ben shooting landscape photography, running, hiking, or tasting at local wineries.
