Carolyn K

Carolyn joined the D’Vine Path team in 2026 and she is eager to bring a wide range of health and wellness experience to the program. She spent 25 years as a Hospice RN (MSN, NP) before retiring and shifting from end-of-life care to a more holistic approach. Today, she helps people live well and care for the planet by encouraging healthy eating, farming, and spiritual support.

Carolyn has adapted to many roles over her career. She began her new path at Whole Foods Market Hillcrest, where she spent two years learning about healthy cooking, eating and kitchen operations. After that, she worked in marketing for eight years, supporting local vendors and farmers. During this time, she helped more than 120 local farms and businesses succeed at WFM Hillcrest. She also partnered with the Autism Tree Project Foundation to write a grant and received funding from Kaiser Permanente for her Food, Farming, and Nutrition Program at Wild Willow Farm. This program ran for over four years and helped neurodivergent children connect with their food and with each other.

At D’Vine Path, Carolyn combines her passions by teaching participants in the Farm and Friends program and Friday night social connections.
